Pace line requirements in New SBRA Ride level classification

I read the e mail about the changes in the SBRA ride level classification system. The system must have been revised about 50 times sense I joined SBRA about 20 years ago. The problems with all of the old Ride leader Classification systems is the ride leaders willfulness or ability to inter put the ride average and or cruising pace. I hope this new system corrects all of the problems that existed in the old systems.

The problem that I can predict with this new system is that all rides level B or above are required to ride in a pace line.WE have a ton of B- to B+ A- riders that do not want or simply do not know how to bike in a pace line. I believe that's why the B+ A- level was created. IT enabled the faster riders to move up from B+ and not have to ride in a pace line format. I know that the A to AA++ riders always had to conform to a pace line and this new policy will not effect them.

MY concern is that I am a C to C+ rider. I am afraid that the B_ or Band above riders will have to crash the C+ rides and push the pace up to there riding level. They will want to bike with SBRA at there pace level but will not by able to attend or ride with there ride level letter group because of the pace line requirement. Some bikers are uncountable with the Pace line format and others simply never bike in a pace line before and thy do not know how to ride prop-ally in a pace line format.
